What: Word Vancouver 2021 Festival

Word Vancouver and Editors BC are presenting a live, virtual, one-on-one workshop where editors will work with authors to assess writing samples. This is an opportunity for editors to demonstrate how the editing process and the author-editor relationship work.

This is a great opportunity to build your client base, get your name out there, and showcase your editing skills and the value that our craft brings to writing.

How it works: Authors submit a one-page summary of their project, a question or concern for the editor to address, and up to 2,500 words of writing, at least two weeks before their scheduled session. The volunteer editor reviews the content and provides one-to-two pages of written feedback. This feedback is discussed during a half-hour scheduled session.
