Who knew that editors were such glamazons?
Back when I was editing magazines, omitting the end punctuation on a multi-sentence headline was a standard magazine style. I wouldn’t have transferred that style to a sign, though.
They could have formatted the sign to avoid the full stops altogether. It’s strange that they elected to punctuate one sentence but not the other…
I’m guessing the magazine people created the sign.
